Soccer

UEFA Champions League: FC Barcelona- Bayer Leverkusen: Lionel Messi

As I said before I will write on some occasions about soccer because I’m horribly obsessed with it. It’s my love affair. I was going through the games I missed  with F.C. Barcelona and I am always amazed at Messi’s skill and natural talent. I mean 5 goals in one game for UEFA Champions League, Come on now.  He’s simply superb and what I like most about him is he’s not conceited or full of himself. He is still that humble person that loves and appreciates the sport. But I cannot say the same for Ronaldo (Real Madrid plays for.) I like how he plays (abit too flashy at times) but I like his skill, I just do not like him as a person. He comes off way too conceited in interviews.
Next, to Messi comes Mascherano for me. I also liked Riquelme , Lavezzi, Higuain, Gago, Maxi, Aguero, Pastore, Angel Di Maria, and probably a lot more.

I’m not really a fan of Tevez. He did, in my opinion way too many mistakes that made me want hurl something at the television screen.
On another note, where ranked number eight according to Fifa’s ranking. Augh.
Alejandro Sabella current coach of Argentina says, "There was the era of [Alfredo] Di Stefano, the era of Pele and the era of [Diego] Maradona. But now is Messi era. This is the reign of Messi. And I am pleased that I will now be able to say that I coached him."
He hopes to be able to assist Messi and supply him with much needed support so that he could gain a victory for the national team.
"We have to make sure we get the best out of him," he admitted. "Barcelona are a unique team and if they were a national team, they would be the best in the world, and in with a great chance of winning the World Cup.

"We, in the national team, have to make sure that Messi is well supplied, creating options for him so that others can carry the side. It is a difficult task but that is the way to look at it."

Hopefully it all pans out and we can get a World Cup, we certainly deserve it.

I'm in love with all these looks, their so quirky and cute. I like the street style of Japan it's so different where not everything matches but it doesn't matter, because you just get this overall cool look. It's creative/daring, not many girls can pull it off here but there it just works. Their were so many pictures that I just wanted to post, but I didn't want it to be a super long post. Probably make another post on Japanese street style because I simply adore it. On another note, as much as I like personal style/fashion. Though, I'm not a person that cares much for labels and brands. I think it's simply ridicolous the cost of some items, which are only that price beause of the brand. I wouldn't spent loads of money on a piece of clothing that I can get for way cheaper or make myself. But thats just me, some might disagree. Anyways, soccer is on par with my love for fashion. I've been watching it and playing the sport for as long as I can remember. It's like a religion in my household, being from Argentina makes you even crazier (because we have the best players, hint hint Messi) about it. I stopped watching soccer ever since the World Cup on 2010. It was devastating and heartbreaking to me watching my team and players defeated. I cried, when my team lost and I didn't think I would be able to get over the loss of the World Cup. I stopped watching and I didn't want to hear anything that had to do with soccer but, recently I've been wanting to emerse myself into the sport again. So, I'm back to watching all the games for the leagues (Spanish, English, French, Italian) and my team's. The World Cup is two years away and I hope to be able to go. One of my dreams is to attend one, or all of them from here on. Long rant, but I'll be posting about soccer too because its something that is very impotant and endearing to me. If anyone wants to chat about the games or players, shoot me an e-mail. I like hearing people's thoughts on the sport. Ciao

Rumour Has It & Plaid

I can't get enough of Adele's song, its engraved in my head. I probably listened to it about 50x, since I downloaded it onto my I-pod. I have to say she's amazing, all her songs have been captivating. I've been so lazy lately, that I haven't been going to classes these two days. But now, I'm back at school, with alot of catching up to do. I could already feel that I'm going to be working at the last minute to get applications mailed and my portfolio ready. I have yet, to phone a couple of colleges and see what I need for my portfolio. Have to start making clothing, I've been getting ideas but want it to be classic/couture. Thankfully, spring break is nearing which means I can take the time to go to NYC and buy fabrics for my designs.

I think it's nice when a piece of your clothing can be able to take you back to a time and a place. Sort of like music, where it can make you reminscence on those good or bad moments. The shirt I'm currently worrying is a plaid shirt that I bought a couple years ago. It makes me think back to when I was obsessed with anything plaid. At one point, my mom told me to stop buying so much plaid shirts, but I couldn't help it and continued to do so. And now, I'm older still liking plaid, but not obsessed as I was before, it's nice to know that some things never change not matter how much I have.

Random thought, I know. Well back to studying for my Algebra midterm. Ciao
